Project Background:

There had been lot of traffic jams on university road at the intersection of road leading to johar chorangi, about 50% vehicles from NIPA Chorangi diverted toward johar chowrangi for reaching their destination in Gulistan-e-jouhar beyond to airport. The City Distt govt Karachi with the assistance of Govt of Sindh started the work on corridor iv to make university road as signal free corridor from sadder to safora goth. After completion of this flyover in record time of 5 month all the traffic congestion had been removed.
